    Private Collector(s) - Mary Vincent: Mary was the granddaughter (through marriage) of a couple who owned a trading post in Washington state. This print was gifted to them as Curtis was a frequent guest there and close to the owners. This print was gifted by the grandparents to their son and from him to Mary and her husband.

  • Condition: This print is in excellent condition overall. There is minor, surface rubbing, only visible in strong direct light. There is minor historic retouching, primarily visible upon close inspection.There is a minor crease at the upper right corner, primarily visible in raking light. The original mount is in very good condition overall. There is a minor tear repair at lower margin edge of the mount. There is moderate loss at upper and lower right corners of the mount. There is minor to moderate discoloration and surface soiling on the mount verso. The mount recto is not affected.
