Late Classic Period. Woven with handspun wool yarns and other materials for warp and weft. Cream, dark brown, indigo blue and green are homespun. Red and bright red are early 3-ply possibly Saxony and raveled wool yarns. Green is yellow and indigo blend, blue is indigo. Very fine weave. Design: two groups of wide cream and dark brown band interspersed with three groups of narrow indigo and deep red stripes. These three groups of narrow stripes contain three terraced red diamond shapes that extend slightly beyond the band of stripes. These diamonds contain indigo and green alternating pattern with delicate striped zig-zag illusion pattern in center.
