Leda & The Swan

inscribed lower left: Correggio

inscribed verso (Spanish translation):
"The god Jupiter in the act of possessing Leda and took on the form of a "cispe" for enjoyment. This is one of the most recognized passages in Greek mythology, frequently used as a model for many 15th century paintings in the Italian Renaissance.
The drawing is done in pencil with hints of color, with a perfection that had to have been made primarily in the sexual parts, for me [indescipherable] by primary order.
I believe that it was created in Italy between 1540 – 1550.
